Black Oak Soap - Mediterranean Body Butter
You'll love the notes of bergamot, neroli, lime, jasmine, orange blossom, amber, and cedar in this fragrance oil. It's inspired by Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino perfume
If your skin feels dry or uncomfortable, our iconic body butters will keep you soft, smooth and hydrated for up to 24 hours. All our rich butters are made with avocado butter. A little goes a long way!
Because this recipe does not contain water, I do not use a preservative. When making a lotion or body butter, the shelf life of your product will be the lowest shelf life of the oils used. For this recipe, Meadowfoam Oil has a shelf life of about 3 years, while Avocado Butter has a shelf life of about a year. That means this recipe will have a shelf life of about a year. I would recommend storing it in a dry, cool place to help it last longer.
Gently massage a small amount of body butter into the skin. Take a moment to enjoy the rich texture and delicate scent. Make sure you focus on areas of the body which are prone to dryness. Give a bit of extra care to the dry skin on knees, elbows and knuckles. The butter texture seamlessly sinks into the skin but doesn’t leave it feeling greasy or sticky.
Allow a few minutes for the body butter to settle before dressing.
